The elephant in the waiting room
How ICT can effect major changes in health & social care delivery
A major networking meeting from 1-4pm on 28th February at University of Warwick Science Park
The problem: The spiralling cost of social and remedial care is seemingly inevitable.
New solutions are needed which deliver services more effectively and extend proper support to broader sections of the community, for example the disadvantaged, disabled, elderly, ex-offenders….
The opportunity: Increasingly ICT, interactive games and media are seen as a major part of the solution, with services and delivery crossing over traditional boundaries. Developing successful systems will require a clear vision of the problems, solutions and opportunities.
To access this opportunity: means "joining-up":
- On the demand side between health and social care systems
- On the supply side between ICT and interactive media suppliers
- ..and between the demand and supply "sides"..
So you need to network to identify potential partners:
This is your chance to:
- Hear from key speakers about the market
- Network with experts from private, public sectors and academia
- Showcase your expertise
- Identify potential partners
- Identify the paths to new business
