It's amazing how many people ignore their existing and previous customers as a potential source of new business...
Talk to your existing and previous clients
Check that you have them in your contact list and that their details are up to date. This is also an opportunity to talk to them, update them, remind them of you, ask them for referrals...(It is unlikely, but one of them might just have a need now, or tell you of an up-coming need you didn't know about!).
How you go about this is up to you...I personally prefer an e-mail first warning of a follow up telephone call......this is also an excellent way to practice your telephone calling skills, which you are going to need more of as you move from being reactive to pro-active...
